Our Electrical Assembler will be trained to:

  • Read part prints and build according to them
  • Assemble components/subassemblies
  • Wire commercial kitchen appliances according to wiring diagrams
  • Wire tops including connecting wire to blowers, terminal blocks, relays, heating elements, contactors, etc.
  • Prepare wire harnesses according to wiring diagrams
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and computer skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or education.
  • Ability to use tape measure, basic hand, air, and power tools, wrenches, nut drivers, wire strippers, stud welder, spot welder, drills, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of electricity, volt meter, etc. gained either through schooling or work experience or a combination of the two.
  • Ability to read schematics/wiring diagrams.

Physical Demands of this job:

  • Constant standing, using hands/fingers to handle/touch/manipulate hand or power tools. The employee is Occasional walking, reaching above shoulders, using foot/feet to operate machine.
  • Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision requirements for this job are near, color, and ability to adjust focus.
