This position is responsible for quality fitness instruction, offering varied routines/classes that support all levels of fitness and encourages membership recruitment and retention for the Fitness Center.
This position is non-benefited, part-time and would be for a one hour class, two days a week. Approximately 3 hours a week.Certification from one of the following if requested by Supervisor:

• AFAA (Aerobics & Fitness Association of America)
• ACE (American Council on Exercise)
• NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association)
• ACSM (American College Sports Medicine)
• NDEITA (National Dance Exercise Instructors Training Association)
• IFPA (International Fitness Professionals Association)

SilverSneakers certification if requested by Supervisor
BLS certification (or obtained within three months of hire)
Working knowledge of how to evaluate, set up, and progress exercise programs for various ages and fitness levels
Previous group fitness instructing preferred
