Talntly is Hiring a Fraud Analyst Near Brentwood, TN

Talntly is seeking a Fraud Risk Analyst for a corporate payments client of ours. The position is local to Brentwood and will be a long term contract with the potential to hire after 6 months. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge in fraud recognition, remediation and analysis. You must have a good understanding of loss prevention function and ability to identify fraud patterns.

Shift available:

10am-6:30 pm CST (off Tuesday, Saturday)

Job Description:

  • Complete accurate and timely investigations of risk related cases created in the fraud monitoring tool queue.
  • Enhance the ability of management team to quickly identify fraud transactions; and enhance early fraud detection and remediation through use of analytical skills.
  • Perform advanced transactional analysis on large data sources.
  • Assist Risk Management team in performing trending and forecasting of fraud in various financial portfolios.
  • Effectively assess current work methodologies and recommend changes when and where necessary.

Job Requirements:

  • Three years within a relevant risk management role or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge in fraud recognition, remediation and analysis is required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and an aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Possess the analytical ability to recognize suspicious and/or fraudulent activity and understand application of statistical methods to fraud prevention
  • Possess a demonstrated ability to maintain vision under pressure.
  • Solid understanding of bankcard products, private commercial credit portfolios and related risks.
  • Understand the principles of data storage and manipulation.
