Montessori Children's House is seeking a primary teacher for 3 - 6 year olds.
Eligible candidate must possess an in-depth knowledge of imparting Montessori based curriculum including the critical areas of Math, Science, Practical Life and Language.
- Ability to work with classroom and provide individualized programs based on a child's talents
- Develop lesson plans, daily reports, track progress
- Work with the Director, management, other teachers and assistants to promote Montessori programs
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, highly organized, team player, loving, caring, compassionate, and patient
- Punctual, dependable, patient, enthusiastic, flexible
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and other staff
Qualifications:
Prefer at a minimum an Associates Degree along with Montessori Certification.
Experience & Early Childhood Education credits/credential.
Prefer experience working as a teacher in a Montessori school.
