Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Program Director to join our team. Here at St. John’s Lutheran Preschool, we prepare children for their future educational journey through experience to grow cognitive, social and emotional skills. Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement programs to support individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs
- Coordinate with the preschool administrator to comply with state mandated continuing education requirements for licensing
- Collaborate and evaluate educational curriculum of the center, in cooperation with the teachers and administrator
- Supervise program staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Maintain communication through the following: social media account, monthly parent newsletters, monthly church newsletters, and emails
- Assist in registration of students
- Attend monthly preschool committee meetings
- Organize, implement, and attend preschool special events

Requirements:

- Have completed high school or its equivalent as determined by the Wisconsin DPI
- Have at least 320 hours of experience as a teacher or assistant teacher in a group child care center or other approved setting
- Have completed at least one of the preservice training requirements under ch. DCF, Table 251.05A (can provide a list upon request)
- Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels

Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
