St. John Lutheran Church (Celina, OH) is currently seeking a Music Leader for our Sunday morning Contemporary Worship Service.

The Contemporary Music Director will:

• Work collaboratively with the Pastor each week to select, arrange and offer music appropriate for the season and theme of the day.
• Lead the congregation in music while using skills as a vocalist and/or instrumentalist.
• Direct and organize weekly rehearsals of the Praise Band and any special music musicians.
• Share information with the church office for printing in the bulletins and announcements.
• Coordinate with Audio/Visual staff for a smooth worship service experience.
• Recruit and train new musicians to fill any vacancies.

The Contemporary Music Leader is expected to work approximately 5 hours per week, including rehearsals, preparation and collaboration time, and leading the worship service. A full job description is available upon request.
