The Natural Health Improvement Center provides an integrative and holistic healthcare option to the West Michigan area. We are a high-traffic, patient-centered practice looking to add a member to our team. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working in an office setting and feel confident in charting and handling patient concerns. He/She would have a natural passion for patient care and be interested in providing doctor-patient communication within a busy setting. Responsibilities and Duties

• Support the general success of the medical lines through teamwork and dedication.
• Handle incoming prescription requests.
• Work in the records room, process incoming labs, handle patient calls, manage outside referrals, file and chart with high attention to detail.
• Assist the practitioners by communicating recommendations, taking questions from patients, and documenting completely and accurately in the patient chart.
• Work together with other Medical Records Assistants to handle all workflow in records rooms, divide the workload, and keep the patients well-serviced.

Qualifications and Skills

• A graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program, preferable
• Dedicated and dependable
• Ability to learn and work quickly in a busy environment
• Interest in holistic care and a career in a private practice
