SUMMIT COLLEGE HAS AN EXCITNG OPORTUNITY FOR AN ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION NURSING IN OUR NURSING DEPARTMENT! Summit College is a vocational educational institution that facilitates students skills and knowledge to fulfill their educational goals of becoming LVN Nurses in addition to Trades fields. This position will be working directly in the LVN Nursing Department with our Nursing Students and DON.

Position Description:

This role requires individuals to be detail oriented, organized and possess excellent time management skills. The general responsibilities will include administrative duties to assist the Dean and/or Director of Nursing (DON). Manages the Nursing Department student concerns through resolution and elevates critical concerns to Campus Director and DON.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Education: BA Degree Required; preferably in Education.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience required; preferably in the vocational education field. Demonstrated successful leadership and organizational skills required. Experience within a Nursing Department preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Essential Functions are varied but include :

• Managing of Nursing Students concerns within the classroom in collaboration with the Director of Nursing.
• Managing student files and all administrative duties relating to these files
• Administrative Tasks of Time and Attendance for Instructors
• Administrative tasks requested by the Director of Nursing
• Assisting in all accrediation requirements
• Ensure compliance within the Nursing Department
• Communicate clearly through verbal and written communications with intern, al and external customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,560.00 per year
