Indorama Ventures - Indovinya is currently looking for a I&E Lead Maintenance Planner who will be responsible to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in daily I&E maintenance planning by supervising, developing skills of contract I&E Maintenance Planners on the team, driving improvement to standardize best practices in the Planning function and helping plan jobs when necessary.
This role is critical to the effective and efficient execution of maintenance work through job planning, estimating, and obtaining, materials to execute maintenance work. This position will frequently interact with Planners, Operators, Mechanics, Storeroom personnel, Area Operations Maintenance Coordinators, Maintenance Team Leads, and Reliability Engineers. This position will maintain established metrics of performance to ensure the maintenance function continues to improve. The responsibilities of the position are expected to grow as more sophisticated planning tools are integrated into the planning function.
What will be expected from you?

• Teach, coach, and supervise I&E Planners.
• Address issues and improvements needed in the SAP Planning system.
• Address issues and improvements needed in the Prometheus Scheduling system.
• Load new PMs. Manage PM modifications and assist as needed to drive improvements.
• Ensure new hires are set up with access to IT accounts and information locations.
• Assess and Champion standard practices in daily planning and scheduling formats and workflow.
• When available, ensure reusable Job plans are created and used to plan work orders.
• Plan during brief periods of overload.
• Prioritize work for the Planners and Schedulers.
• Elevate overload situations and facilitate discussions to address.
• Manage OT.
• Assess the productivity of Planner / Schedulers. Identify any skills deficiencies. Raise any concerns to Mgt to address.
• Assist in developing goals and objectives for the P&S team.
• Ensure a sufficient planned maintenance backlog is maintained for each work crew.
• Routinely meet with Operations Maintenance Coordinators to ensure work order priorities for Instrument/Electrical Planners are established and the appropriate work packages are completed and available.
• Publish established planning and scheduling performance metrics for the work group.
• Adjust job plan library information based on job audits and by reviewing execution feedback forms and adjusting preventive maintenance plans and corrective maintenance standard task lists.
• Participate in the routine maintenance prioritization, planning, scheduling, and shared resource meetings.
• Maintain accuracy of equipment bill of material database in SAP. Set up any missing bill of materials for equipment.
• Attend monthly safety meetings and complete company-required training programs.
• Ensure that the activities are carried out to comply with safety, food safety, GMP, health, environmental, quality and responsible care.
• Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed. If applicable, the ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives.
• Prepare maintenance plans for Instrument/Electrical equipment for maintenance outages including opportunistic shutdowns. Plans should include detailed schedules of all tasks to be performed, the necessary resources allocated both internal and external, the preparation of all work descriptions for outsourced activities and the identification and ordering of critical spares and/or special tools or equipment needed for the planned repairs.
• Directly accountable and responsible for those aspects of the Instrument/Electrical work orders planning backlog and quality.
• Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.
• Assist other employees in accomplishments of Indorama company goals. Follow instructions and perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
• Participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company. Participate in and completes company required training programs.

What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?

• High School Diploma or Equivalent AND a minimum of 5 years of experience as an I&E maintenance technician/ specialist and
• At least 3 years of Preventive Maintenance Planning in a manufacturing environment OR associate degree AND a minimum of 3 years of experience as a I&E technician/specialist.
• At least 2 years of Preventive Maintenance Planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have or be able to obtain TWIC card.

Required

• Instrument/Electrical Maintenance background is required.
• Demonstrated ability to operate computers and Windows software such as Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to independently plan, organize, prioritize, and estimate.
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to sequence job activities, acquire documentation, procure material, use specification references, prepare sketches, and maintain records.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, bill of materials, and detailed drawings.
• Proficiency in SAP and Prometheus for work order planning and management.

Preferred

• Proficiency in Maintenance Planning optimization
• Proficiency in SAP document Management System (DMS) for work order planning optimization
• Ability to learn new skills and work methods, acquire process knowledge, research maintenance technologies, and apply improvements in the contract maintenance management system.
• Ability to perform effectively in maintenance training activities in the electrical, instrumentation and related fields
