Prescient Technologies is seeking highly skilled, knowledgeable, and self-motivated Interpreters to support a government contract. Our ideal candidates will be dedicated to achieving and maintaining a high level of professionalism.

The interpreter shall provide Sign Language Interpreting Services from American Sign Language (ASL) to English and English to ASL. Activities may include interpretation for meetings, programmatic discussions, and technical conversations.

Interpreter services may range from simple to complex and are sensitive in nature and will require an active secret clearance.

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of American Sign Language and Deaf Culture.
• Must possess well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with members from a variety of backgrounds.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of five (5) years working as an interpreter must be reflected in your resume.
• Professional certification from a recognized institution such as the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and/or National Association of the Deaf (NAD).
• Must hold an active Secret Clearence.
• Must be able to interpret/transliterate fluently and understand the continuum of sign communication.
• Must be able to proficiently voice to sign as well as sign to voice.
• Must possess exceptional communication skills, both orally and written.

Pay: From $60.00 per hour
