Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Parent Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childhood development and education, with experience in toddler care, preschool education, and curriculum development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide educational support to parents on child development and early learning strategies
- Conduct home visits to assess family needs and provide guidance on parenting techniques
- Collaborate with parents to create individualized learning plans for children
- Organize and facilitate parent education workshops and group activities
- Assist parents in implementing Montessori-inspired activities at home
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for children
- Monitor and evaluate children's progress and adjust educational strategies as needed
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in a childcare, daycare, or educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with parents effectively
- Ability to plan and implement educational activities that promote learning and development
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning techniques
