Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Church Organist/Accompanist to join our team and provide musical accompaniment for our church services (2 services per Sunday morning) and events.

Responsibilities:

- Play the organ or piano during two church services (8:15 AM and 10:40 AM), including hymns, anthems, liturgy, and other musical selections
- Accompany the choir and soloists during rehearsals and performances
- Collaborate with the music director to select appropriate music for services
- Attend rehearsals and meetings as required
- Maintain and care for the church's musical instruments

Qualifications:

- Proficient in playing the organ and/or piano
- Experience accompanying choirs and soloists
- Knowledge of traditional lutheran church music repertoire
- Ability to sight-read music
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for music and worship

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week
