Summary / Objective

The Accounts Receivable Lead is responsible for full cycle tasks associated with Accounts Receivable (AR), credit and collections.

Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:00 AM - 5 PM (Pacific time)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform credit and collection-related tasks with customers
• Research and resolve customer billing issues
• Cash post for multiple entities
• Processing, mailing, and auditing of invoices
• Process payments (credit cards, ACH) and apply to appropriate accounts
• Handle high volume incoming customer calls and emails
• Process invoice uploads in Sage 100
• Filing of Accounting documents
• Cross train within department for other AR/AP functions
• Assist with billing for multiple entities
• Perform special projects as assigned by management

Competencies

• General accounting knowledge
• Preferred experience using Sage (Accounting software) or similar software
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Advanced Excel skills using pivot tables, vlookups, filters, etc.
• Strong organizational skills
• Good communication (oral and written)
• Maintains accuracy, timeliness, and consistency
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be detail-oriented
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task - meet deadlines and follow up on pending issues
• Ability to work well in a team as well as an individual contributor

Required Education & Experience

• High school degree or GED equivalent
• Accounts Receivable experience 4-6 years (required)
• Supervisory experience 1-2 years (preferred)
