Louisiana Tech University is Hiring a Remote IT Policy and Compliance Analyst

Thank you for your interest in employment with Louisiana Tech University. Louisiana Tech's IT Department is looking for an individual that will be responsible for formulating and administering policies and IT compliance. This position will serve as a member of the IT Security team. This person will oversee the campus resources and the development of systems and procedures to protect organizational assets by developing and implementing best practices in IT policies centered around data governance and compliance. The IT Policy and Compliance Analyst reports to the Chief Information Officer and works with the Louisiana Tech Internal auditor and various university departments. Working with departments in the state and best practices of compliance and creating policies where appropriate and necessary Create an IT security and awareness program the the campus Troubleshoot all technology issues Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance Research current and potential resources and services Develop policies to help with compliance Perform other related duties as required Requirements: A bachelor's degree in computer science or cyber security degree Good verbal and written communication skills Positive interaction with IT staff and the University community Louisiana Tech is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/ADA Employer and places a high priority on the creation of an environment supportive of ethnic minorities, women, veterans, and persons with disabilities.
