Description

Job Title: Membership & Parent Services Program Coordinator

Department: Program Operations

Reports to: Membership & Parent Services Manager

FLSA Status/Hours: 40

Classification: Essential

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Membership & Parent Services Manager, the Program Coordinator implements program and agency goals, REACH objectives and agency best practices, and program efficiencies. The Coordinator provides critical customer support and acts as an interface while building relationships with families, parents, members, and the community.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides exemplary customer service and hospitality to members and families
  • Process membership intake, orientation, enrollment, attendance, renewal, outreach and documentation
  • Maintains an accurate waiting list of prospective members
  • Assists with the facilitation of new member orientations and tours
  • Assists in monitoring of and follow-up with members who do not meet attendance requirements
  • Assists in processing membership applications and all registration forms
  • Create member forms and secures all required membership documentation
  • Generate, post, and circulate flyers announcements for membership orientations and center closures as (Remind: Weekly Community Bulletin/announcements)
  • Process all registration procedures, consisting of class planning, class registration, class schedules, class rosters, and batch enrollment
  • Coordinates with schools and APCH transportation team on school pickups
  • Make phone calls and program automated phone call reminders to parents
  • Assist as needed with program outreach to local schools and partnering organizations
  • Generate reports from Apricot 360 (the APCH membership database)
  • Assist in tracking demographic information for the federal food program (CACFP / SFSP) for members participating in the program and/or tracking Title 1 schools in the service area

Other Responsibilities

  • Supports in providing minor first aid to youth as needed
  • Maintain and submit all paperwork in a timely fashion
  • Mentor through actions and behavior in observing dress code, language, and team support
  • Maintains a neat and orderly work area that is presentable to the public at all times
  • Participate in all agency events
  • Adheres to the highest ethical and professional standards and values at all times
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Education/Training/Experience

  • Degree: High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years experience of related experience and/or training
  • Ability to speak, write and understand Spanish (Required)

Physical and Mental Demands

  • Walking, standing required on a daily basis
  • Sitting and use of hands/vision for computer work for extended periods of time
  • Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Able to communicate and convey accurate information
