GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

At Speerhead Beyond, a job coach is responsible for providing exceptional hands-on vocational training to individuals with special needs. This is an excellent part-time SUMMER opportunity to help others succeed! In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks and responsibilities all helping high school students gain work experience skills at his/her place of employment.

AVAILABILITY

• Part-time position
• Work Schedule: 9-1 or 1-5
• Work Dates: June/July (possibly longer)
• Approximate Start Date: June 14, 2024
• Work Location: Granbury and surrounding areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Uphold Speerhead Beyond’s mission, vision, and values
• Instruct individuals on how to best perform job-related tasks.
• Monitor and track individual’s performance as related to goals.
• Devise effective instructional techniques; Collaborate with team to do so.
• Maintain and enter information into databases and paper forms.
• Manage important deadlines.
• Track and reconcile customer timesheets.
• Record information and take photos.
• Collaborate with other job coaches and internal teams
• Coordinate efficient and organized submission of time-sensitive documents.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, school districts, parents and local business contacts.
• Keep track of incoming calls, voicemails, emails, and messages and return them in a timely manner
• Operate and maintain personal office equipment including but not limited to: computer and printer.
• MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
• Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Associates Degree or higher preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities, strongly preferred

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
