Cross Road Health Ministries is Hiring a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Near Glennallen, AK
This may be a full or a part-time position.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, history, and treatment needs.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
- Provide individual, group, couples, and family counseling sessions using various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, and mindfulness-based approaches.
- Utilize clinical interventions to help clients address and manage mental health issues, emotional challenges, and interpersonal conflicts.
- Monitor and evaluate clients' progress during counseling sessions, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments, in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
- Participate in clinical supervision, peer consultation, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated on current research, best practices, and emerging trends in the field of mental health counseling.
- Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines established by relevant professional organizations, such as the American Counseling Association (ACA) or National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC).
