We are a well-established hospice company with 6 offices across Missouri covering over 65 counties.

We are currently looking for RNs to make visits and be on call every other weekend in our Farmington, MO office. The ideal candidate would have hospice, home health, and/or skilled nursing experience, but we are willing to train the right candidate!

Must live within the service area. Must have reliable transportation and car insurance.

Pay will be based on experience and will include compensation for time on call and for visits. Mileage reimbursement included. (Salary scale listed is included by Indeed.)

This is an ideal job for someone who works during the week and needs supplemental income on the weekends. Or someone who works 12 hour shifts and has weekend availability.

JOB DUTIES

Be available to answer phone calls for hospice patients and make visits when needed at any time, day or night, during your shift.

Be able to triage severity of calls to determine when a visit is needed.

Documentation of every call and visit into the Electronic Medical Record.

Be able to do a head-to-toe assessment and symptom management using hospice protocols.

Provide emotional support to patients and families facing a terminal illness.

Report any issues, patient changes, concerns to the back up nurse and/or nurse management team.

Hours are typically Friday at 5pm to Monday at 8am but can be flexible at times to accommodate needs.
