Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - PMHNP - Child

Details:

• Provides Psychological services to children and adolescents. Will see up to 20 patients a day -all outpatient no weekends
• Assesses patient's physical and psychosocial health/illness status through history taking and physical examination.
• Diagnoses, manages, and appropriately refers patients with psychological testing and evaluations according to department protocols.
• Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests according to established guidelines.
• Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed psychologist conditions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Massachusetts Licensed Registered Nurse required.
• Certified in Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner required
• Certified in CPR/AED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a PMHNP or 3 years as a nurse in psychology/psychiatry

Pay: $135,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
