ABOUT THE ROLE:

Eligibility Specialist role is to analyze the taxpayers case details, review income and expense to determine the best resolution for the client. The Eligibility Specialist will be preparing and reviewing tax forms, This team works with the case managers and Tax professionals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Use financial systems and data provided by the client to determine best resolution with the IRS
• The incumbent maintains responsibility for the review of application documents as part of the verification process to determine eligibility, data analysis, evaluation and resolution
• Organize and manipulate large sets of data for analysis
• Utilize data processing technology
• Think critically to create calls to action
• Communicate insights effectively and comprehensively
• Process data, research, and develop analyses to efficiently create insights and create metrics to measure success
• The job includes other duties and responsibilities assigned by management
• Review client financials, income and expense ratios
• Prepare various IRS forms

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Highly motivated with a positive attitude, professional demeanor and excellent people skills
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office with advance excel skills
• Time management – multi-tasker, able to prioritize projects and follow up with processing in a timely manner
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
• Demonstrate problem solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Associate degree from two-year college or one-two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in Tax Resolution Industry
• Strong verbal communication
• Proficiency of statistical knowledge
• Ability to think critically

PAY RANGE: $19.00 - $21.00 Per Hour

The above-range represents TaxRise’s current good-faith pay scale for this role. TaxRise reserves the right to modify or update this range at any time.
