Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Infant Nanny to care for a 6-month-old baby. The position requires a nurturing and energetic individual who is knowledgeable about infant milestones and can help establish a structured routine. Both parents work from home, so it is important for candidates to be comfortable and experienced with working around the parents.

The ideal nanny is nurturing, energetic, and able to keep up with the demands of an active baby. Familiarity with or background in Caribbean culture is a plus!

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and compassionate care for baby, implementing a structured nap and feeding routine.
• Engage baby in age-appropriate developmental activities such as reading, sensory play, and walks (weather permitting).
• Prepare and give bottles of breast milk (pumped by mom) to baby, introducing solid foods when the time comes. If you can make home-made baby food, that is a plus!
• Sterilize bottles, disinfect and maintain cleanliness of baby’s toys, diaper station, and play areas.

Pay Rate

$25-28/hr plus paid time off, paid holidays, and sick leave. (on payroll)

Kensington Nanny Agency Requirements

• Must have 3 or more years of recent, verifiable professional private home experience
• Understanding of professional boundaries, modesty and dressing appropriately
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Have a reliable car
• Excellent driving record
• Be drug-free
• Able to swim
• Have a stable work history
• Speak excellent English – must read & write
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Have no criminal record
• Be CPR & First Aid Certified (prior to beginning work in the home)
