Job Description
- Conducting physical examinations and assessments of patients.
- Diagnosing and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.
- Prescribing medications and other treatments.
- Providing primary care services to patients of all ages.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in clinical research studies.
- Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the relevant specialty area.
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a healthcare team.
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in TN.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of primary care principles and practices.
- Experience in clinical research is a plus.
- Familiarity with home care services and phlebotomy techniques is desirable.
