Yorktel is Hiring a Sales Coordinator Near Brick, NJ
Yorktel is currently seeking a Sales Coordinator who will deliver sales opportunities and assist with other sales department tasks as required. They will also manage daily operations of the sales department.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting all sales roles and providing stewardship over the daily internal sales processes.
- Assist sales Account Manager in the preparation of draft proposals, RFI’s and RFP’s
- Attending conferences as required to find and follow up new opportunities.
- Manage the Yorktel database to ensure information on all accounts and/or prospects are up to date.
- Manage multiple relationships with vendors, clients, and our partners.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work on own initiative, driving new opportunities creation through self-managed programs.
- Highly organized and able to communicate effectively to determine next sales task and resolve issues.
- Ability to cope with multiple projects.
- Ability to integrate with Federal/Commercial sales and marketing teams.
- Team player with a clear capability to understand York Telecom’s business.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well with deadlines and constant re-prioritization.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to understand profitability impact.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and/or Business Studies or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of work experience preferred
- Must be Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), especially Excel.
- Familiarity with the functionality of the Internet
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
- Limited weekend and/or night work may be required
- Limited domestic travel requiring multi-night stays within and at times outside the local work area.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license is a requirement and must have a positive driver’s abstract.
- Must be willing to complete background checks and drug tests as required by current or future contracts.
