Our ultimate goal is to provide survivors with alternative ways of coping with physical and/or emotional abuse through education, counseling, shelter, non-judgmental emotional support, and housing assistance.
Summary of Position
The Domestic Violence Engagement Advocate provides vital services to families interacting with Ventura County Child and Family Services (CFS), a role that falls in line with all aspects of Coalition for Family Harmony’s mission, including providing direct services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, educating the community regarding violence against women, children, and men, and working to prevent the cycle of violence. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
