Ashley Women’s Services is seeking a motivated Board-Certified OB/GYN to join a well-established practice. Ashley Women’s Services is owned and operated by Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett, Arkansas. We currently have an employed position that offers a generous benefits package, and a highly desirable work environment. Ashley Women’s services is focused on each new phase of women’s health and we are looking for someone to join the team. When it comes to labor and delivery, we know that it can be the most strenuous process a woman will ever face, and at Ashley County Medical Center, we have qualified staff who are there to assist our OB/GYN’s in helping our mothers bring their children into this world with as little stress as possible. We are also very blessed to have a level 1 nursery in our hospital and two board certified Pediatricians. We are currently recruiting a third Pediatrician to join Ashley County Medical Center.

Practice:

• Clinic currently consists of two Full Time OB/GYN’s, and one Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Highly motivated physicians trained in Family Medicine Obstetrics will be considered. This position is to replace a physician who is retiring.
• Established Practice – start seeing patients on day one
• Stand-alone facility with private office space
• Services include Obstetrics—both low and select high risk patients, and Gynecology—both clinical and surgical
• Equipped with in-house ultrasound
• Alternate call with 1 other OB/GYN
• Clinic hours Monday-Friday, 8-5
• Approximately 165 births a year

Faculty Opportunity:

• Rural Training Program, Type 1 Designation

Qualifications:

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Arkansas by the Arkansas State Medical Board
• Physician shall be currently board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as defined by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, or Family Medicine Obstetrics as defined by the Board of Certification in Family Medicine Obstetrics (BCFMO)
