Position: Production Worker. Job Description: Perform a variety of tasks related to raising and processing ducks. May work in various areas of the process as directed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Management, processing and breeding of ducks.

Deboning, cutting, packing, weighing, moving, inspecting, working in the plucking section, etc.

Will be able to work in all positions as necessary and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Must adhere to Company policies and procedures.

Perform work tasks in accordance with established standards for safety, quality and speed of processing.

Although you are normally assigned to a single department, production and staffing needs may change.

Animal safety and welfare rules should always be followed. Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, BUT not required. Physical requirements:

Work regularly around moving mechanical parts within the plant floor. Constantly exposed to high temperatures (heat), humidity and freezing cold. Also, you will work in noisy environments at times.

Must be able to consistently move 50 pounds alone (without assistance) and 80 pounds with assistance.

Constant use of machinery or manual tools with the hands, this throughout the shift.
