Position Summary: Data Analysts at Levelwing support digital data collection strategies and identify measurement opportunities. In this role you will use tools such as Google Tag Manager, to implement Google Analytics data collection for our clients’ digital properties. You will help define and execute on Levelwing’s marketing intelligence and data visualization needs through the development of reports, visual analytics, and dashboards, focused primarily on digital marketing data. As a Data Analyst you will regularly integrate with internal team members across all departments within Levelwing: Analytics, Media, Accounts, and Creative; keeping well-informed of best practices for digital data collection, management, and visualization technologies and solutions.

Minimum Skills & Requirements:

  • What You Bring:
    • A Bachelor's Degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, marketing, or a related field. 
    • Zero to two (0-2) years of experience with website data analysis in digital marketing dimensions and metrics.
    • Experience with web analytics tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
    • Exposure to, or experience with, common data visualization tools such as Qlik, Power BI, DOMO, Looker, and/or Tableau.
    • An understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email, display) and how they are measured and analyzed.
    • Familiarity with key performance indicators (KPIs) and campaign metrics (CTR, CPC, conversion rates, ROI).
    • Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis, including the use of pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functions.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identifying data collection opportunities across client websites that map to their business goals and objectives.
  • Analyzing web analytics data and assessing the online experience to identify friction points and opportunities for conversion rate optimization.
  • Creating processes that streamline data management and reporting needs.
  • Integrating data from numerous sources including, but not limited to: digital marketing, traditional marketing, website analytics, point of sale, and audience profile data.
  • Collaborating cross-departmentally to guide the digital measurement strategy.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting data collection issues and anomalies.
  • Assisting in process improvement and documentation of Levelwing’s data and reporting framework (custom alerts, data sources, reporting cadence, etc.)
  • Constructing client reporting requirements and data needs for performance reports, as needed.
  • Ensuring paid media tagging best practices and standardized naming conventions are utilized.
  • Honing skills in web analytics tools, features and functionality – primarily Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Learning and advancing skills in Marketing/Business Intelligence tools, features and functionality – primarily Qlik and Funnel.io.
  • Participating in the vetting of new solutions based on business/client needs and the ever-evolving digital landscape.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
