Location: Breckenridge, KY

Summary:

As an Audiologist you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating hearing and balance disorders using evidence-based methods. This practice prioritizes best practices, employing real-ear measures and modern testing equipment to ensure top-notch care for our patients. Breckenridge is located southwest of Louisville and boasts several fun attractions for all ages. Take in the great outdoors of the Bluegrass state at Buttermilk Falls, and the many beautiful local and state parks. Or visit historical landmarks like the Door to Nowhere and Kentucky Stonehenge!

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough hearing assessments for both pediatric and adult patients.
• Evaluate patient medical histories and collaborate with Otolaryngology physicians to devise tailored treatment plans.
• Work closely with Otolaryngology physicians to offer cohesive care.
• Create and execute personalized treatment plans, incorporating amplification, assistive listening devices, aural rehabilitation, and counseling.
• Maintain transparent and prompt communication with treating physicians via written reports.
• Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards in all services rendered.

Requirements:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Kentucky.
• Proficiency in diagnostic hearing evaluations, encompassing air- and bone-conduction testing, comprehensive speech testing, and immittance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, empathetic approach to patient interaction.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
