Hope Harbor is a Christian nonprofit ministry operating a group home for teen boys with emphasis on the engagement, supervision, and guidance of teens and families in the areas of life skills, social skills, daily living, and spiritual growth. Our Parker South Dakota location serves boys ages 12-17 up to 12 residents at a time.

The Site Director of Hope Harbor's Parker location is responsible for conveying the vision, mission, core values, goals and general policies of that location, serves as the chief administrator of the site having local oversight and promoting spiritual vitality, and is the local spokesperson for the location and primary fund developer for the site. This position offices on site with typical hours of M-F 8am-5pm, with occasional travel for speaking engagements possible within 60 miles.

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Public Relations and Donor Development/Care responsibilities (fundraising, speaking engagements, organizational correspondence)
• Fiscal responsibilities (develop and implement annual funding plans, submit budgets, maintain sound financial practices)
• Administrative responsibilities (maintain employee records, keep the advisory board appraised of operations, work with a Leadership Team to operate facility, submit an Annual Report)
• Personnel responsibilities (recruit, train and evaluate staff and volunteers, identify staffing needs, conduct reviews)
• Spiritual Vitality and Programming responsibilities (maintain the Christian spiritual environment of the location, participate in client interviews, maintain communication with families, engage with residents, assist with discipline and programming needs).

The ideal candidate has:

• Strong Christian faith and value system
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Public Relations, Ministerial, Management, Business Administration, or other related field
• Fundraising experience
• 2 years of management or leadership experience
