Marketplace Manager
Jeffers is seeking a strategic and dynamic leader to oversee the direction and growth of our 3rd Party fulfillment Marketplace Operations via Rithum (fka Channel Advisor). You will manage the day-to-day business for Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Target fulfillment channels as well as drive the strategic vision to grow these channels or additional channels for profitable growth. This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the CEO. You will have regular interaction with peers, board members, and strategic vendor partnerships.
Operations
Execute opportunities to drive sales/profitability to grow current Marketplace operations
Develop and execute new channel opportunities including Private Label and bundles
Manage marketplace team of 2 for Customer Service and Order Processing; grow the department strategically for areas of opportunity such as Listings Specialists or Error Resolution Specialists
Direct oversight of pricing rules and listings for optimizing profitability
Ensure that daily site maintenance is conducted; correcting product descriptions, product images, new item posting, discontinued and inactive item removal and functionality meets and exceeds company expectations.
Manage relationships with strategic third party partnerships
Own the Channel Health KPIs and champion excellence across all metrics
Regular reporting and communication of sales, profitability, and channel metrics
Merchandising
Work closely with other departments
Conduct market research in order to identify commercial opportunities and new marketplace partners
Drill down into marketing channels and site performance metrics to explain variances to business
QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years e-commerce/marketplace management
TEAM player and eager to partner collaboratively across the organization
You have experience in managing a P&L within a business to deliver profit and growth
Rithum/Channel Advisor platform experience is a must.
You have deep knowledge of Amazon, Ebay and Walmart, a good understanding of other marketplaces would be an asset
Amazon Brand Registry Experience a Plus.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and show constant initiative
Strong project management skills
Strong analytical skills to guide business strategy decisions
