Job Type: Full-time Spanish Interpreter/Customer Care Coordinator (NO SALES!)

Pay starts at $16.50 per hour

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday - 12:30pm to approximately 9:30pm (or later - dependent on business needs)
  • Training Schedule (Paid): first 3 weeks will be from 9am-approximately 5pm (dependent on business needs)

**Please Note, this position has duties other than translation (over the phone customer service)

(Pay starts at $16.50 per hour):

Responsibilities:

  • Translate calls in a live environment in both English and Spanish between two or more parties
  • Recorded Statements
  • Managing inbound and outbound calls
  • Collaborating with clients, patients, drivers and translators
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
  • Meeting production expectations
  • Arrive on time on a daily basis

The Spanish Interpreter/Customer Care Coordinator requires 1 year of experience as an interpreter/translator. This position will report to the supervisor and team lead of the assigned department:

Qualifications/Skills

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Simultaneous interpretation
  • Ability to Relay the style and tone of the original language
  • Ability to listen to the speaker’s talk and then translate verbatim
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
  • Maintains consistency and quality assurance for all calls and document translations.
  • Customer service experience
  • Inbound & outbound calls, data-entry / ACD telephone lines
  • Ability to work independently
  • Critical Thinking and Organizational Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Our Customer Service team assists our client companies in their efforts to efficiently arrange transportation to medical appointments, pharmacy stops, etc... and, also provide language support in over 200 languages through both our bi-lingual Customer Service center and through contract interpreters.
