Position Overview
Under general supervision of the Response to Intervention Coordinator, the MTSS-RTI Consulting Teacher is responsible for providing support in the implementation and evaluation of the RTI framework to schools across the division. The position is also responsible for designing and delivering high quality professional learning to school staff and leaders in the areas of instruction, intervention, and progress monitoring strategies to support the use of evidence-based practices in schools. This position directly aligns with LCPS’ Strategic Plan for Excellence (Goal 1: Empowered Students).

Itinerant travel is required, and the employee is frequently required to change locations and adapt to multiple environments across schools, offices and home visits. Ability to drive and navigate to multiple locations occasionally within a single day is required.
