As a Warehouse Associate you will begin in the Runner/Loader position to scan, sort, and move product throughout the building from one department to the next. You will work with your team to prepare customer orders and load furniture onto our trucks for delivery to our customers. When you have mastered that position you will learn other positions in the warehouse, such as, Receiving, Lift Operator, Assembly and Repair.

What you would be doing:

• Handling and Moving Objects
• Sort, move and unwrap items and assist other team members as needed before loading customer orders onto delivery vehicles.
• Scan items with handheld barcode scanner.
• Move items from department to department as needed for the completion of the daily assignments.
• Load customer orders on delivery vehicles.
• Unload trailers and containers, as needed.
• Tag and scan merchandise into the warehouse management system.
• Clean work area as needed.
• Train and learn the duties of positions in other departments.
• Be willing to undergo forklift training and become a certified lift operator for an elevated (cherry picker) lift truck.
• Rotate between departments as needed.

What you can expect:

• Base pay rate of $13 per hour plus a possible incentive bonus based on the company overall completion percentage each pay period. You can make up to $7 more per hour.
