ilooklikeLOVE in Dallas, TX welcomes AmeriCorps members in collaboration with CitySquare.

This Summer, we invite members to serve their communities in one of these roles:

· The AmeriCorps Diaper Pantry Program Advocate supports all operations of the ilooklikeLOVE mobile diaper pantry through event preparation, inventory coordination, and client intake.

· The AmeriCorps EmpowerU Program Assistant supports all aspects of the ilooklikeLOVE EmpowerU program for single mothers. EmpowerU provides mentoring, access to information, resources and opportunities that will assist clients to navigate motherhood and achieve their personal dreams.

Benefits of becoming a CitySquare AmeriCorps Member:

• Members will be paid $4,500 (broken down and paid in twice monthly installments during the term- $1,414/month)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Available from May 13th- August 16, 2024
• Available 35-40 hours/week during business hours, M-F 8am-3pm, with up to two Saturdays per month for diaper distribution events
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Deferred action and temporary permanent resident do not qualify)
• Able to access reliable transportation
• Able to pass a criminal background check

Preferred qualifications:

• Preferred one-year experience in a non-profit setting as a paid employee or volunteer, and/or experience in social work, human service or a related field
