The College of New Jersey is Hiring a Temp Counselor Education Part Time-Maternity Coverage Near Ewing, NJ

The School of Education - Counselor Education department needs to cover maternity leave (Natasha Shabazz) for the Department/ Program Coordinator position with a temporary 6 months period. Starting July 13, 2024 through December 13, 2024.
The Department invites applications for this temporary Department/Program Coordinator to join our community. The position of Department/Program Coordinator includes projects that are critical to the Department of Counselor Education which require some administrative coordination and oversight. Most importantly, the position functions as the Clinical Coordinator for practicum and internships and the CACREP Assessment Coordinator for all counselor education programs offered for the school.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Support all departmental professionals with administrative requirements as needed
  • Coordinate all clinical experiences in the School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling programs,
  • Distribute required STEP office forms for payment
  • Oversee ongoing, systematic accreditation (CACREP) assessments, curricular evaluation
  • Assist with the department's annual reporting needs
Required Qualifications:
  • Some years of experience in Counseling Education methods and practices
  • Master's Degree
  • Demonstrated ability for…project management and coordination within higher education setting
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written skills
  • Proficiency in the use of standard office software ( including Microsoft Office, web-based tools, Google Suite ) and technology (such as multi-function printers-fax machines, and phone systems) and the ability to learn and administer technology related to clinical coordination (such as Supervision Assist)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion, and grace in handling and managing sensitive student and faculty issues.
