Description

Starting Salary Range: $48,000 - $51,500

Agape Child & Family Services has a current opening for a Becoming ONE Supervisor. The Becoming ONE Supervisor is a member of the Becoming ONE leadership and is vital in fulfilling Agape Child & Family Service's mission and vision. The Becoming ONE Supervisor will collaborate with Agape staff and the staff of partner churches to ensure that the Becoming ONE Program model is fully implemented with fidelity and that deliverables are met. The primary responsibility of the Becoming ONE Supervisor is to continue developing and strengthening marriage relationships with couples through the Becoming ONE Program model while leading the Relationship Connectors and other team members within the Becoming ONE Department.

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Effectively lead employees within the Becoming ONE department to ensure determined outcomes are met.
  2. Proactively and strategically coordinate with and support evaluation of efforts/impact, including gathering and reporting data as necessary. The Becoming ONE Supervisor will provide monthly reports based on the agreed-upon Becoming ONE program outcomes.
  3. Provide program-specific and other internal reports and related information in a timely manner to ensure grant and funding compliance.
  4. Build and maintain relationships throughout Agape so that the BECOMING ONE program becomes fully integrated within the organization.
  5. Grow and maintain healthy relationships with churches and other partners through the Powerlines Community Network.
  6. Position the Becoming ONE Program so that building healthy marriages is at the center of social services provided by Agape. This includes but is not limited to organizing workshops, retreats, celebrations, intensives, and refreshers for married couples. Organize special certification training for facilitators, marriage mentors, and pastoral couples in curricula like Prepare and Enrich, Prep 8.0, and Money Smart. Facilitate individual coaching for married couples through Relationship Connectors, marriage mentors, and partner churches.
  7. Provide opportunities for staff development via staff in-service training and approval for attendance at professional workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  8. Lead, organize, and implement the Becoming ONE program strategies to help all of our partners grow in Awareness, Education, and Engagement. This includes but is not limited to community churches, anchor churches, hub churches, donors, church networks, volunteers, non-profit partners, and government partners.
  9. Maintain positive and effective relationships and communication with Agape staff.
  10. Serve as an advocate for Agape Child & Family Services and the communities we serve.
  11. Agape is a data-informed agency. The Becoming ONE Supervisor must accurately record data based on program standards and use data for continuous quality improvement.
  12. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which would allow for needed interaction and involvement for the tasks of this position, i.e., weekend and evening hours, etc.
  13. Attend and represent Agape in appropriate meetings and training with other agencies and partners.
  14. Attend Multidisciplinary Team Meetings and other in-service training the agency provides.
  15. Facilitate supervision and team meetings regularly.
  16. Will perform all other duties within the general scope of this position as requested by their direct supervisor or other members of Agape Leadership.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
  • Prolonged walking, standing, and climbing stairs in churches, community sites, and during special events.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time.

Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited college or university, with at least 3 years of relevant experience, including program coordination, project management, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience. A High School Diploma or Equivalent/GED is acceptable, with at least 7 years of experience in lieu of a degree; previous ministry experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate must have the demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships with a wide range of people and collaborate with internal and external partners, excellent organizational and time management skills, outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, and be a proven self-starter. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and demonstrated computer proficiency, including the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications essential to this position. Experience using a case management system to enter case notes, track client information, and monitor performance is a plus. Should possess outstanding organizational and time management skills and have proven problem-solving and self-starter ability. Understanding of data collection procedures and the aptitude for using data to inform decisions and processes. Must have an automobile available for business use and maintain a current driver’s license and current auto insurance with acceptable levels of coverage. Will be required to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends as needed. Candidate must be willing to engage in Agape’s Performance Quality and Improvement (also known as Continuous Quality Improvement) standards of quality & excellence.
