```Overview``` We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing and reimbursement for medical services. This position requires strong knowledge of medical coding, billing systems, and medical office procedures. ```Duties``` - Review and analyze medical records to accurately assign codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services using ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems - Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies electronically or by paper - Follow up on unpaid claims and denials, and resubmit claims as necessary - Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients - Process payments from insurance companies and patients, and post them to patient accounts - Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness, and resolve any discrepancies - Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations - Collaborate with medical providers, office staff, and insurance companies to resolve billing issues ```Requirements``` - Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role - Proficient in medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-10, ICD-9), and billing procedures - Knowledge of medical collections processes is preferred - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - High level of professionalism and integrity If you are a dedicated Medical Biller looking for a challenging role in a fast-paced medical office environment, we would love to hear from you.
