All Florida Orthopaedic Associates is Hiring a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - PART TIME - ST. PETERSBURG Near Saint Petersburg, FL

In this role you will:

Be responsible for performing maintenance services and repair in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, machine servicing, cleaning/housekeeping, grounds, and/or electrical servicing to the organization's facilities. As often as is practical and appropriate, performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials. Is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within this particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks. At times relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Performs a variety of tasks and leads and directs the work of others. A certain degree of creativity is required. Reports to a manager.

The position requires traveling to satellite offices; therefore, dependable transportation is needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains building/facility by cleaning surfaces mixing and applying paint and other finishers; Prepares interior and exterior surfaces
  • Properly stores, cleans and disposes of all supplies and equipment used per departmental policies and procedures
  • Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work
  • Completes daily work orders as scheduled
  • Assist in operation and general maintenance of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, machine servicing & cleaning/housekeeping to the organization's facilities.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekend shifts as needed
  • Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic Institute.
  • Performs essential repairs and other duties as requested

About You

  • Requires 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and Excel helpful.
