Certified Collectibles Group is Hiring a Director, Facilities Near Sarasota, FL

Certified Collectibles Group is seeking an experienced Director of Facilities to oversee all aspects of facilities management for our company Headquarters, based in Lakewood Ranch, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our premises are well-maintained, safe, and conducive to a productive work environment. This role involves managing a team of Maintenance Technicians and Facility Cleaners, overseeing building operations, and coordinating with external vendors and service providers.
Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Management:
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Facility Maintenance and Operations:
  • Oversee daily operations of all company facilities, ensuring they are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and repair costs.
  • Manage the cleaning and upkeep of all company buildings, including offices, common areas, and external grounds.
  • Select, negotiate, and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • Oversee contract for services such as landscaping, and HVAC maintenance.
Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols to protect employees, visitors, and property.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
Technical and Operational Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of facilities management, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical systems.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Space Planning and Utilization:
  • Plan and manage office space allocation and layout to maximize efficiency and accommodate company growth.
  • Coordinate office moves, renovations, and refurbishments as needed.
  • Develop and implement strategies for optimizing the use of space and resources.
Project Management:
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to plan, execute, and oversee large-scale capital projects.
Financial Acumen:
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and make cost-effective decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in managing facilities within a manufacturing or industrial setting is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in overseeing large-scale projects, including construction, renovation, and maintenance.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with order management systems or ERP software.
Certifications (Optional but Beneficial)
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
  • Facilities Management Professional (FMP)
  • LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
