About the Role

The Operations Analyst will partner with campus service leaders across Avenues to build, design, and sharpen their current data system/organizing tools so that NAE reporting is accurate and efficient (in less time) across functional areas including Admissions and Enrollment, People and Culture, Finance, Technology, Health and Safety, Compliance and more. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative, entrepreneurial analyst to dig into a variety of rich, meaty questions and drive meaningful impact across a wide swath of functional areas.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Serve as a primary liaison with team leaders and data leads across the Avenue New York Campus Service team.
• Utilize and improve upon existing data reporting infrastructure, create customizable real-time reports, and enhance mechanisms for operational reporting.
• Develop and maintain self-service data delivery tools such as dynamic dashboards
• Analyze and provide executive summaries for key ANY surveys: parent, colleague, and more
• Build relationships and understanding through documentation of how campus service leaders organize, analyze, and use data to inform for future planning and performance
• Create and develop data analysis capacity including but not limited to building data warehouses
• With guidance from the Director of Operations and Administration, respond to ad-hoc requests on specific projects (e.g., engagement surveys, student demographics, financial aid spending

About you

• You are unintimidated by large quantities of imperfect data
• Translate complex data into clear and compelling stories
• You understand that information is experienced in ways that are subjective, sensitive, and culturally-mediated.
• You are a power-user of Excel and other data management software and are familiar with a variety of CRM tools, with a working knowledge of code and comfort with systems architecture.
• You have experience/expertise building data models and using Excel/Google Sheets to support sophisticated reporting.
• You can competently manage competing priorities from different work streams simultaneously in a fast paced environment .
