Come join our team as a Security Guard, Part-time where under the direction of the VP - Operational Risk Management, you will provide on-site armed security coverage to safeguard the Credit Union's team members, members, visitors, and vendors. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Patrols premises and ensures the security and safety of team members, members, visitors, and vendors of the Credit Union.
Directs vehicle and pedestrian traffic on Credit Union property, including drive-up lanes.
Performs daily tasks associated with opening and closing of the branch location.
Inspects security equipment and devices for availability and operational integrity.
Oversees vendor and service technician activities at branch locations as needed.
Responds to alarm calls and security incidents during and after business hours.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Experience: One year of similar or related experience is preferred. Must maintain a valid firearms license and CPR and basic first aid certification. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record with a minimum of two years of driving experience. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required or an equivalent combination of education and experience Interpersonal Skills: Position requires significant contact with others inside and outside the Credit Union, thus requiring a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, diplomacy, and tact in communication. Builds relationships and fosters positive interactions with Credit Union team members, members, and vendors by demonstrating friendly, helpful, and efficient service. Good written and verbal communication skills are required, including skillfully negotiating and/or reasoning with individuals and diffusing upset members. Patience, active listening, and sound judgment are required.
