Structures Technician III

• Responsibilities :
• Manufacture, assemble, and test First Stage & Second Stage structure.
• Setup new production work areas, including tooling and equipment.
• Assist with transition from development to production, including first articles.
• Perform second party verifications and hardware inspections to engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written procedures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and / or maintenance.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control.
• Setup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools including, but not limited to, torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, height gauges and optical measuring instruments.
• Qualifications :
• Experience in Drilling Aluminum, Composite and / or Titanium structures
• Experience in at least one of the following is required : Heavy (Primary Structures drilling experience) (Secondary Structures drilling experience)
• Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, understands written work instructions and test procedures.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.
