Rooftop Digital is seeking a motivated and eager individual for our Email Marketing Data Manager position, located in Agoura Hills, California (temporarily remote to start).

Principle Responsibilities & Duties:

Email Marketing Data Manager will play a key, leading role in Rooftop Digital’s Internal Email operations, driving processes for consumer data identification, targeting and utilization for company can market relevant products and services to consumers based on their consumer buying journey.

The candidate will be expected to:

• Lead pre-mailing data strategy with Rooftop’s email teams based on data allocation and distribution strategy;
• Scope data requirements with the company’s technology team for data mapping and posting to the Email Service Providers;
• Refine data segmentation usage to ensure data utilization and effective monetization is achieved as per predefined targets;
• Work with Email team leads and analytics to scope and implement data targeting and mapping on data to improve deliverability and data penetration;
• Work with advertiser operations to scope segmentation requirements to improve offer matching and executing data targeting/ mapping based on advertiser filters and requirements;
• Create weekly and monthly action plans with email teams for data requirements and coordinate with data operations to provide timely;
• Optimize current processes within email support team for incoming data segmentation and create standard operating procedures;
• Perform project management with various departments working with the email teams to support execution of defined data strategy;
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Minimum Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, and/or Communications;
• 3 years' of work experience in Digital Marketing and/or Email Marketing
• Demonstrate an understanding of data structures, data profiling, and database management. Knowledge of running SQL queries is a plus;
• Ability to segment data within an Email Service Provider (ESP) platform for the purpose of sending email campaigns;
• Analytical and technical aptitude to perform decision modeling based on email and web analytics, and the ability to derive meaning through data analysis and reporting;
• Ability to work with cross functional teams (e.g. IT, Internet Operations, Creative, Analytics);
• Demonstrate a passion for digital marketing concepts, practices, and programs supporting basic to strong understand of email marketing;
• Ability to utilize A│B testing as means to test, optimize, and rapidly improve email campaign performance;
• Proficient in English language with good communication skills;
• Ability to sit for long periods of time;
• Eligible to work in the United States.
