Bridge to Enter Advanced Mathematics (BEAM), a project of the Art of Problem Solving Initiative, Inc., is seeking a Program Assistant to support the administration of our Entry Points program for approximately 10-15 hours per week, up to 25 hours/week, starting July 8th. The Program Assistant role is a dynamic position that supports BEAM’s operations by providing assistance with program administration, general office support, and data entry.

Above all, we're looking for people passionate about BEAM's work and impact. It is much more important to us to hire someone with the right approach than someone with a particular background. That said, we are looking for the following qualifications:
Compensation, Benefits, and Other Details
Compensation for this position starts at $18-$20 per hour for a 10-15-hour weekly schedule. We’re open to scheduling reliable, strong-performing Program Assistants for additional hours per week as needed and as their schedule permits (e.g., during a school break), up to a total of 25 hours per week.

HIRING PROCESS

We believe in the importance of demonstrated ability and work samples. Some applicants will be chosen for the second stage, where we will ask you to complete sample projects to show us your work. From there, some applicants will proceed to an interview, which will be the final step of the hiring process.
