POSITION/DESCRIPTION: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Are you a skilled handyman who loves fixing things? Do you appreciate a flexible schedule and a dynamic work environment? Plum Point Lodge is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a seasonal position from April to November, offering a unique opportunity to work at one of the most charming retreats right on Seneca Lake, just about 20 minutes from Geneva, 15 from Watkins, and 10 or less from Penn Yan.

JOB TYPE: Seasonal - April - November

JOB DUTIES:

• Preventative Maintenance: Clean AC filters, ensure proper drainage, monitor and maintain HVAC systems.
• Plumbing Repairs: Unclog toilets, check septic system filters, fix leaking sinks, replace shower valves.
• Electrical Maintenance: Replace blown fuses, troubleshoot minor electrical issues.
• Water System Maintenance: Monitor chlorine levels, change water filters as needed.
• General Maintenance: Perform paint touch-ups, assist with lawn care, clean and maintain the pool.
• Team Collaboration: Work on multiple projects simultaneously, collaborate with team members, anticipate and prepare for potential issues.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Nights as needed
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
