Children Mental Health Navigator Plus Responsibilities:
Children Mental Health Navigator Plus will navigate behavior health services for individuals who are in or at risk of entering state conservatorship or who are at risk of parental termination within DFPS region 11. Will conduct outreach and develop collaborative partnership with other child serving agencies. Will coordinate RTC level of care for individuals assigned to services within Coastal Plains’ catchment area. Will conduct regular meetings with other LMHA within region 11 to ensure coordination of intake and MCOT services. Position will chair Brush Country and Quad Country CRCG. Position reports to the CMH Services Director.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major in social, behavioral, or human services, plus 3 years of experience in human services relevant to the duties performed.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
· Master’s Degree
· 1 year of required experience must have been in a supervisory or lead worker capacity
· Knowledge of basic casework principles and general community resources
· Job requires high level of clinical skill necessary for independent judgement
· Minimum proficiency with computer software as demonstrated by knowledge of Microsoft applications
· Bilingual (English/Spanish)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills as demonstrated by oral and written interview
· Experience in working collaboration with other child serving agencies
· Reliable transportation with valid insurance with availability to travel outside of CPCC service area
