Diablo Convoy is Hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver Near Rancho Cucamonga, CA
- Operate all equipment in a safe, responsible, and professional manner
- Pickup and deliver to and from service centers
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, ability to write simple correspondence
- Good communication skills- effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to effectively communicate with the shift supervisor, co-workers, and other departments on work-related issues promptly
- M-F Schedule
- Start time 6-7am
- LTL- 10-17 stops per day- Palletized freight of all kinds
- Pallet Jack from dock to truck
- New Peterbilt Day Cabs- 53' Trailers
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience is required
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Must have the ability to read, write, speak English, and perform simple mathematical calculations with general mental abilities to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, maintain logs, etc.
- Must maintain an acceptable driving record in compliance with DOT requirements.
- Must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. regularly
- Valid Medical Card
- No more than 3 of combination- At fault accidents or Moving Violations
- Must pass a background and drug test (signed up for Clearinghouse)
- Competitive Pay- tiered increase to be reached after 2 years of employment
