Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Director of Culinary Services to oversee the dining services in a Skilled Nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management and leadership skills to ensure the smooth functioning of our organization.

Duties:
* Create a safe and clean work environment for all culinary employees to work in.

* Ensure the team follows all local and federal guidelines with food preparation.

* Create and implement a 2-week schedule that aligns with the budgeted hours.

* Maintain accurate inventory of food products.

* Purchase weekly food orders that match our pre planned menu

* Interview and onboard new team members.

* Maintain complete and accurate employee files.

* Monitor all payroll functions within the department.

* Attend daily, weekly and monthly meetings to ensure we are best partnering with the facility to meet the residents dietary needs.

Requirements:
- Candidate must have an active ServeSafe certificate prior to employment.
- Proven experience in facility management, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Knowledge of skilled diets, consistencies and textures of skilled nursing patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
