At USA Insulation, the Chemical Batch Team Lead actively participates in the manufacturing process of our proprietary foam insulation product. You will be responsible for the production process and the production schedule and keep our team informed of manufacturing capabilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient operations, high-quality output, enforcement of safety protocols and process and fostering a collaborative environment with the General Manager and other production team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct involvement in the manufacturing process alongside the production team.
• Work with production team to achieve production goals and uphold quality standards.
• Monitor batch while in process and closely observe output quality.
• Collaborate closely with the General Manager to align production with company objectives and strategies.
• Overall responsibility for raw materials, stages of raw materials and packaging finished product for storage and/or distribution.
• Responsible for inventory of raw materials, pallets, drums, and other necessary equipment and supplies.
• Work with inventory and logistics coordinator to understand product demand.
• Maintain manufactured finished product inventory.
• Communicate when appropriate action, including shutdown of process is necessary to prevent or limit production.
• Work in partnership with General Manager to drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce waste.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Analyze production data, report on key performance metrics, and make informed recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Understanding of quality control principles and safety regulations
• Understanding and ability to work within Microsoft Office Suite with a basic understanding of Excel 
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
