The impact you'll make:

Reporting to the Director of Store Experience, the Visual Merchandising Operations Lead is responsible for the coordination and execution of Visual Merchandising operations. This role is a highly cross-functional critical connection point between Creative Operations, Retail and Marketing and ensures that all Visual Merchandising projects are well communicated, well-coordinated and delivered with accuracy and excellence to our stores. 

All Saje Team Members are responsible for contributing to Saje’s culture and maintaining a positive environment for themselves and their peers.

Responsibilities:

Retail – 60%

VM Operations: Consolidate and deliver key information and analysis to support high-functioning Visual Merchandising, including key dates and deadlines, inventory quantities and dimensions for products and fixtures. 

VM Communications: Coordinate with Retail Operations and field leaders to communicate VM plans, manage VM needs and support leaders to drive high quality execution.

 VM Continual Improvement: Be a conduit for VM feedback from Retail to identify where we can continually improve; take feedback effectively from Retail Leaders and turn it into recommendations for solutions to your team.

KPI Focus: Identify opportunities through VM to improve Retail KPIs: conversion, IPT, AVS and topline growth through strategies that drive purchase behaviour at scale.

VM Productivity: Measure, analyze and report on the productivity of SKUs activated by VM strategies in stores.

Creative Operations – 40%

Operations: Coordinate with Creative Operations on timelines, file management, dimensions and delivery for all Visual Merchandising assets.

Vendor Management: Source, coordinate and manage vendor relationships with printers and fabricators for all Retail Visual Merchandising needs.

Briefing: Support Retail leadership to inform Visual Merchandising briefs into Creative; be a subject matter expert to support the right information at the right place at the right time.

Highly effective working cross functionally; ability to operate under pressure, innately flexible and solutions oriented.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a strong understanding of a Retail environment and flow of the store experience.
  • Proven experience working in an office environment, submerged in project workflow, and collaborating cross functionally.
  • Must have previously worked closely with a creative team and proven experience working with print assets.
  • Previous experience working with vendors will be important.
  • Must have a Retail first mindset and have comfort spending time in Retail stores to experience activations in real life.
  • Must have experience with the creative briefing process from start to finish.
  • The successful candidate will be incredibly detailed and organized. Ideally you have experience using some kind of Project Management tool (we use Asana).
  • Candidates who excel in our Retail Operations team are adaptable and comfortable pivoting based on organizational needs.
  • Any experience tracking towards a budget will be beneficial, but not required.
  • Having worked with different print types is a plus.

The average compensation range for this position is from $65,000 - 75,000 annually. Base pay is dependent on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
